![]() The heel area is smoother than 7, and the midsole is inward with extra padded cushion for additional comfort. However, Asics 8 is not the smoothest and softest running shoe on the market. The upper side of Asics Venture 7 is comfortable but less breathable than 8. You need to measure the width well to have enough breathability. It has enough toe room to fit feet if you can choose the right size. Which One is More Comfortable & Breathable?Īscis 8 is comparatively more breathable as the upper part of the shoes is built with mesh. However, many people settle for 8 because of its more color options. If you compare the designs of both Asics shoes, you will find both worth it. Overall, both the Asics 7 and 8 are durable, but the 8th one seems better with constructions. It also has enough shock absorption capacity to hold the balance right. The rear foot technology protects your feet from potential injuries and will save your joints. This ensures you can overlay your feet well and give safety while running for miles. The 8th version can provide a better grip if we talk about traction. If you want something for running outside and still want the shoes to look new, Asics gel venture 8 is a good version. Its rigid construction will ensure you can run the fastest with stability. The 7th one is a bit stiffer, and the 8th one is a bit more spongy. It has better pronate capacity on both the upper downside. If you compare them, the Asics 8 laces are a bit thicker on your feet overall. The service life of the running house depends on its construction, materials, and designs. When you’re running around wet and dry places wearing them, you’ll find them really easy to carry. If you try the 8th one, you will find them extremely lightweight and grippy. Because of that, the weight is a bit more. ![]() Manufacturers have tried to give it a more durable and long-lasting design. Well, the weight is more just because of its high-quality materials. However, if you compare it with its updated 8th version, You will find 7 heavyweight shoes. Well, Asics 7 is a good running shoe and is lighter than its 6th version. Give a quick check on the following table to get the basic knowledge about these two tail running shoes: Basis Of ComparisonĬomparison & Explanation- Which One is Better? Which One is Easier to Carry? Both of them has gel technology and similar construction design. Both trail running shoes are inexpensive and great options for hiking or exploring new areas. In December 2013, Lorde announced that she had begun writing material for an upcoming second studio album. In 2020, Melodrama ranked at number 460 on Rolling Stone 's revision of their 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.īackground and recording Jack Antonoff ( pictured) co-wrote and co-produced the majority of the album with Lorde. It won a New Zealand Music Award for Album of the Year, and received a nomination for Album of the Year at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in 2018. Melodrama received near-unanimous acclaim from contemporary critics who complimented its sound, Lorde's vocals and direct songwriting and was featured on various year-end and decade-end lists. It received gold or platinum certifications in the said countries and the United Kingdom. The album was Lorde's first number one in the United States and Canada, and also peaked atop the charts in Australia and New Zealand. Lorde promoted the album through several music festivals she headlined, and the Melodrama World Tour in 20. The songs " Green Light", " Perfect Places", and " Homemade Dynamite" were released as singles. Critics viewed the album as a maximalist departure from the minimalist hip hop-influenced production of its predecessor, and considered it a loose concept album chronicling the emotions ensued from a house party. The final product is an electropop record incorporating piano-based melodies, pulsing synthesisers and dense electronic beats. Lorde chose Jack Antonoff as the main collaborator because she felt the need to expand her artistry from the Joel Little-produced Pure Heroine. Initially inspired by her disillusionment with fame, she wrote Melodrama to capture heartbreak and solitude after her first breakup. Following the breakthrough success of her debut album Pure Heroine (2013), Lorde retreated from the spotlight, and travelled between New Zealand and the United States. It was released on 16 June 2017 by Lava and Republic Records and distributed through Universal. As he told Apple Music about his choice of collaborators, “I want to find people who are doing something different and open to working with different sounds and unconventional beats-just open-minded people who have something to say.Melodrama is the second studio album by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde. Wherever electronic music is right now, you can be sure that whatever Flume is cooking up in his studio is two steps ahead. On the 2019 mixtape Hi This Is Flume, he dusted off his most experimental beats yet while linking up with slowthai, SOPHIE, and JPEGMAFIA. His twisted trap drums and spacious atmospheres proved the perfect foil for vocalists like Vic Mensa, Tove Lo, and Little Dragon, leading to production work for Lorde and Vince Staples. With 2016’s Skin, he showed his growth with trickier beats and more innovative sound-sculpting, without forgetting about the importance of a perfect hook (exhibit A: “Never Be Like You,” with a swoon-worthy topline from the Toronto singer kai). Those head-nodding beats and hazy effects quickly became staples on chill playlists, but Flume was already lining up his next wave. The sedate vibe was the flip side of EDM’s peak-time energy, but his slippery synths and ribbon-like vocal edits showed kinship with dubstep a sound many would soon call “future bass” was born. ![]() The following year, his self-titled debut album established the outline of his nascent sound, pairing spring-loaded drum programming with dreamily chopped-up samples. A decade later, the deliriously laidback vibe of his debut single, “Sleepless,” got him signed to Australia’s Future Classic. In a way, it did crack a code: To see music’s inner workings laid bare came as a revelation to young Streten. The free gift wasn’t a secret decoder ring, but a CD with rudimentary production software. Streten got his start making music when he was 10 or 11, when his dad bought him a box of cereal. In the process, he helped pioneer a whole new dimension of chill. In the early 2010s, just as main-stage EDM was pushing tempos and decibels into the red, Flume-aka Harley Streten, born in 1991-went in the opposite direction, delving into hip-hop beats and airy synths. Australia is a long way from electronic music’s principal hubs, but don’t tell Flume: When he was just 20 years old, the Sydney producer leveraged his easygoing surfer attitude into single-handedly changing the course of electronic music’s evolution. 12/7/2023 0 Comments Blade runner screenplay![]() Even with the film's tumultuous writing process (Fancher's resistance to Scott's demands ultimately led to him being removed from the project), both screenwriters praised the filmmaker for his unwillingness to leave any stone unturned.Īfter Fancher's firing, numerous production setbacks and a need for constant revisions led Scott to hire David Webb Peoples in an attempt to move the existing draft in a direction the filmmaker was more comfortable with. For fans of Blade Runner (and great cinema in general), it's absolutely worth listening to in its entirety. That's why we teamed with Final Draft and The Q&A Podcast with Jeff Goldsmith for a special screening of Blade Runner, followed by a deep dive discussion into the writing process with screenwriters Hampton Fancher and David Webb Peoples. And with its too-good-to-be-true sequel, Blade Runner 2049, now in theaters, we here at ScreenCraft decided the time was right to explore the fascinating history behind the original film. The changes run from surface-level adjustments, like the removal of the theatrical cut's much maligned voiceover, to deeply thematic narrative changes, such as lingering questions over Deckard's own humanity.Įven after 35 years, Blade Runner's mysteries, both behind and in front of the camera, remain an endless curiosity amongst cinema aficionados. The film was eventually salvaged in the form of multiple director's cuts, with the most recent 'Final Cut' generally considered to be the definitive version of the film. Blade Runner was also an infamously tough production, with a tumultuous writing process, a difficult shoot, and a post-production cycle that eventually resulted in director Ridley Scott's removal from the project. ![]() While the film itself is retroactively viewed as a masterpiece, it failed to light a fire with audiences and critics upon release until it was famously reevaluated years later on home video. Later, as their attraction grows, and the hunt for Batty reaches its famous, rain-soaked climax, Deckard discovers that his own humanity may be in doubt (depending on which version of the film you're watching, that is). Dick's existential science fiction novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Blade Runner follows the escapades of Rick Deckard, an LAPD cop played by Harrison Ford, tasked with hunting down and retiring four artificial humans known as "replicants", led by Rutger Hauer's Roy Batty.ĭuring his investigation, Deckard visits the elusive Tyrell corporation and develops feelings for a female replicant named Rachael, whose artificiality and shortened lifespan casts a shadow over their blossoming relationship. Still, few tales are as legendary as those surrounding the production of Ridley Scott's 1982 masterpiece, Blade Runner. Hollywood's history is littered with examples of art from adversity. Warning: spoilers for the original Blade Runner, including its hotly debated ending, are discussed at length in this article. 12/7/2023 0 Comments Goldberg 3rd match wcw roadblockHopeless Boss Fight, when the Worf Effect is shown in a form of Boss Battle. I did it and all of the sudden the headliner started smoking and got super hot and almost spontaneously combusted RESIST the temptation to use super glue to stick the velcro back on like I did, because the super glue reacts with the fiberglass and the other glue that bonds it together. Either that, or you can use the headliner glue you will need to stick the new headliner fabric back on. As for the velcro piece, you may want to try buying some industrial strength velcro that has the adhesive on the back so you just peel off the platic backing and apply it. What you want to use to remove it is a stiff plastic bristled brush, but be careful because if you brush it too hard you will start digging in to the actual fiberglass board itself and then there will be a mark when you put new fabric on. Once the old fabric is removed yes there will be a lot of foam residue left. Thanks for any advice anyone has!įirst of all, you are lucky no clips were broken, my car had had a leaky sunroof the PO fixed and then tried to glue the headliner back up with hot glue Well when they took the headliner down they broke ALL the clips near the seat belt track for me Maybe it's really not that important given once the clips are on etc. It looks like it was stapled through the fabric on top and then the fabric on top was glued on to the top of liner. The other problem I now have is that the opposite side of the liner ripped and took off one of the velcro pieces (it has three along the back.) Not sure if I should staple it back on through the front of the liner. Did someone say that used some type of special tool to clear everything off?
